  4. De nada. Yes, as in per diem, or Todos las Dias..but interesting cognate dies with....Dios as well (Deus). Some of your writing impresses me greatly, but at times you sort of shift into ....Garrigou-Lagrange mode, and...then yo tengo temido

    Hola S.

  5. the fact that you now the name
    garrigou-lagrange is nothing slight
    he was a specialist
a writer more people should read today
    to good effect
i doubt that anyone has written
as coherently about the spiritual life
and the progress of the soul
    as he did

more than once i have been drawn in
and humbled and intrigued with his writing

maybe reginald garrigou-lagrange OP should be required reading for anyone on this blog

    no
that would be a bit much to ask

    yet
it might be a good exercise at some point
    for all who comment here
    to read the same book

    soemthing for the future
    of
    communitas dies

    gracias amigos

  6. I have read a bit of G-L's writing online, and yes he was a powerful cleric in the Thomistic tradition. G-L also gave his benediction to the Vichy....and rumors are he approved of the nazis as well. So, we should keep that in mind, j-h, shouldn't we? However ugly democracy may be (and it's... muy feo), it's preferable to the...3rd Reich or commie-ism.
